So when the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), which, under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank) established a process to enable lenders to certify that their service providers meet the highest possible standards, naturally we lept at the chance to have our quality proven once again. It’s built on American Land Title Association (ALTA) Best Practices which provides a common standard for title agents to be assessed against.
